We are thrilled to introduce Kelsey Perkins, the newest member of our ever-growing and talented design team! Joining us from Karma Agency, Kelsey believes that design is the perfect combination of creativity and problem solving, and loves to use her talents to help nonprofit organizations elevate their brands. She loves seeing a brand come to life, and is satisfied knowing she is producing good work for good people. Kelsey will be working to design robust, elegant identity systems, and beautiful, engaging communication tools for our clients.
Originally from a suburb in Michigan just outside of Detroit, Kelsey brings a worldly perspective to the studio. She spent a large portion of her childhood living in and traveling across Europe, where she developed a love for seeing new places and trying exotic foods. After finding herself in Philadelphia to study at Philadelphia University, where her portfolio was recognized as the top of her class, Kelsey is now settled in Northern Liberties with her husband and roommate – they’re calling it their “How I Met Your Mother set-up”! When she’s not in the studio, Kelsey can be found sipping a craft beer at one of Philadelphia’s many breweries, working on embroidery projects (stay tuned for Kelsey’s Etsy shop, coming this winter!) or binge-watching True Crime documentaries.
Kelsey has already hit the ground running since joining our team, effortlessly jumping right into ongoing projects and producing excellent work. With a keen eye for detail, a natural curiosity, and a passion for working with nonprofits, Kelsey has already proven to be a fantastic addition to our team at J2!
Below is baby European Kelsey, in all her 90s glory.
