At ServerlessConf Tokyo in early October, DigitalCube released Shifter, which brings serverless architecture to WordPress for the first time. Serverless hosting replaces traditional servers with a more stable, secure, and scalable option at the fraction of the cost. It’s still in beta in Japan, but will be available to US audiences in early December. Until then, check out their beta site and sign up for early access before it launches and WordPress goes serverless.
